About Scott
Scott has been heavily exposed to the racing world while growing up with his father competing in multiple sports car championships. Scott drove a go-kart for the first time when he was 13 years old, planting the seed that has lead him to where he is today.
When not racing, Scott loves to mountain bike and spend time on the water, both of which he is fortunate enough to do close to his home in British Columbia. Scott stays fit through a variety of activities including running, biking and weight training. Scott also spends time growing several business ventures.

Testimonials
“Scott truly represents the future of Canadian Motorsport. I’ve been watching him for a few years now and the results speak for themselves. Open wheel, sports cars, doesn’t matter; put him in it and he wins. Scott also is everything a racing driver needs to be outside of the car. The combination of these two elements mean a successful career in racing is almost a formality!”
- James Hinchcliffe, Canadian Indy Car Driver for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports
“Scott Hargrove raced an incredible season and snapped up the 2014 Ultra 94 GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin Championship title as a result. He has proven himself to be a talented young driver and a great fit within our GT3 Cup developmental series.”
- Alexander Pollich, President & CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd.
“Over the past few years Scott Hargrove has stood out as one of the most promising of all the young racers striving to make a career in the sport. He won the 2013 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda in exemplary style and was equally impressive as a rookie in last year’s Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires. In addition to displaying his versatility in a Porsche GT3 Cup car, Hargrove has an outgoing personality that will serve him well as he continues to move up the ladder.”
- Jeremy Shaw, Founder of Team USA Scholarship and Auto Racing Writer & Broadcaster
“I worked with Scott during the Porsche Young Drivers Academy at Barber Motorsports Park. Scott was very professional in dealing with a new car and new people. He had lots of experience with open wheel cars but little with heavy sports cars. He was quick to learn the capabilities of a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car, doing a great job giving feed back and working with his fellow teammates. I believe Scott has the talent and mind set to do well in Indy Lights.”
- Hurley Haywood, Multiple Time Daytona 24, Le Mans 24 and Sebring 12 Hour Champion
“Having been involved in motor racing as a team owner and race engineer, I have worked with many talented young drivers over the past 20 years. I can surely spot the rare ones, those drivers who combine all the assets a champion needs: motivation, speed, determination, dedication and a never give up attitude. Scott Hargrove is clearly a rare driving talent married with a personality that makes Scott a real standout. Scott also understands the importance of being a true professional, and understands the importance of providing value to his partners.”
- Dominic Cape, Owner of Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing
“Scott is the fastest, most technically adept young driver that I have ever had the pleasure of working with.’ ‘He’s very quick and makes things happen.”
- Thomas Knapp, Owner of TK Motorsport and Engineering Services
